Founded by Ethiopian model-turned-designer Liya Kebede, LemLem is a socially-conscious accessories label that seeks to bring traditional weaving techniques from the designer's native country into the wider world. LemLem kaftans present a plethora of cover-up and layering clothings, which boast a light, breathable and airy wear. From V-neck tunics to cascading ponchos and floor-sweeping cuts, the collection is produced using a combination of cotton, acrylic and silk. All LemLem kaftans are hand-spun/washed and integrate embroidery and prints that are representative of Kebede's heritage.
