With the release of her first eponymous range of high octane swimwear for women, Fernandez both reinvigorated the world of swim fashion and introduced a brand new fabric to the arena. Before her innovative range, no one had used neoprene for swimming and suddenly it was inextricably bound to each of her designs alongside other unusual materials like terry, crepe and seersucker.
