Violante Nessi

Graduating from Istituto Marangoni in Milan and Central Saint Martins College in London, before going on to work at Marc Jacobs, Proenza Schouler and Tom Ford, Italian designer Violante Nessi translated her industry experience to her own label, when she founded her namesake line. Juxtaposing the traditional with contemporary ideas and design, the brand experiments with the notion of modern femininity and elegance through traditional Italian craftsmanship. Using classic artisanry, as well as new production and manufacturing techniques, the label creates a modern version of femininity as seen through the striking silhouettes, use of geometric shapes and minimalist aesthetic.
