Materia Prima by Goffredo Fantini is an Italian footwear label. Founded in Northern Italy, the brand embodies a typically stylish Italian aesthetic; elegant, sophisticated yet understated. The son of one of the world’s most famous shoe designers, Giovanni Fantini, it was a natural transition for Goffredo to start his own line. Drawing on the extensive training and knowledge he gained from his father, the label has become internationally recognized and in 1999, he was crowned ‘Designer of the Year’ by Footwear News magazine.
