This passion for the ocean and the laid-back, beachy aesthetic that comes with it was nurtured from a young age, drawing on her childhood memories of her parents’ beach house in the Hamptons and cultivated through years spent traveling the world working on photo shoots as the senior fashion and beauty editor for Cosmopolitan. Using hand dyed and printed silks and feather light cottons and natural fabrics as a base, Hessel Cohan has translated her love of the beach into an easy to wear, boho chic collection of cute separates and statement dresses.
