Born in Paris in 1978, Julien David moved to New York at age 19 where he attended the prestigious Parsons School of Design. He went on to join Ralph Lauren as a designer in charge of tailored pieces for the Ladies Purple Label Collection. In 2006, David moved to Tokyo and a year later he had launched his own brand in Japan.

Julien David collections combines materials such as silk, cashmere and specially developed wool to create out-there designs. He uses contemporary and street culture as references for his pieces, evoking a distinctive style perfect for fashion-forward closets.
