Gai Mattiolo

An Italian fashion label founded by its designer, Gai Mattiolo creates structured and heavily-embellished men’s and womenswear. With no formal training, the self-taught designer launched the brand aged 19 with a boutique in Rome and has since gone on to grow the label to an international level. Combining ready-to-wear with couture details, the designer describes his collections as prêt-à-couture, defining its wearable yet artisan nature. Signature details of the brand include sculpture-like buttons, metallic threads and embellishments made up of precious stones.
