Blackstone

Johan Adam de Bruijn followed in his father’s footsteps, quite literally, working in the leather industry and launching a fine footwear company, which would become Blackstone. When he came to leave the business to his own sons, it was clear that the brand was well-loved but needed to move forward and start incorporating fashion into their vision. Today, Blackstone is renowned for taking risks with shoe design and the brothers who run it are credited with launching the grungy look of the late 90s.
