Japanese designers Junko Jinushi and Kyoko Kato first joined forces in 1991 on a collection named Coup de Champignon, before debuting the Antipast collection in 1992 in Paris. Since then, the brand has shown collections in Paris, Milan and Tokyo twice a year, offering up a directional selection of women’s ready-to-wear that seeks out fashion’s future with experimental processes and an avant-garde approach to design. Expect muted colors but a bold and expressionistic approach to volume, cut and textiles; distinct and ultra-wearable.
