Olympics fashion<\/strong>
\nThe Olympic Games are set to be one of the biggest fashion influences of the summer.
\nSkate style:<\/b> Skateboarding made its debut as an Olympic sport in Tokyo, and fashion lovers were inspired by what the skaters wore. Searches for the Nike SB range grew 35% on Lyst after the first skateboarding competitions this weekend. Moreover, demand for Nike SB Dunk Low sneakers has increased by 25% over the same time.
\nTelfar\u2019s Liberian uniform:<\/b> Telfar’s Liberian Olympic uniforms are going viral. Searches for the brand grew 53% on Lyst following the Olympic Games opening ceremony where the Telfar-designed Liberian Olympic kit was spotted.<\/p>\n

Sex & The City reboot:<\/strong> Following the release of the \u201cJust Like That\u201d filming photos earlier this month, we noticed an increasing demand for platform heels and Fendi\u2019s Baguette bag. Over the past two weeks, searches for platform heels went up 21%. Meanwhile, last Saturday, Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted filming a scene wearing a purple Fendi Baguette; since then, searches for Fendi’s Baguette bags have spiked 45%.<\/p>\n

Vivienne Westwood chokers:<\/strong> Vivienne Westwood\u2019s iconic \u201890s orb choker is back. The rising popularity of the piece on TikTok has sent fashion lovers searching on Lyst. As seen on Bella Hadid and Dua Lipa, searches for the pearl necklaces have spiked 55% month-on-month, with the Bas Relief pearl choker<\/a> being among the most wanted pieces for the brand over the past few weeks. Meanwhile, page views for Vivienne Westwood’s pearl jewelry, in general, have increased 32%. <\/p>\n

Varsity resurgence:<\/strong> In line with the hot fall trend, preppy sports jackets are gaining momentum. Since the beginning of the month, we\u2019ve noticed a 13% increase in searches for varsity jackets; with designer options such as Saint Laurent\u2019s wool jacket<\/a> and Off-White\u2019s logo patch jacket<\/a> topping fashion lovers\u2019 wishlists.
