The Met Gala: The MET Gala returned this week with some of the most talked-about red carpet outfits. In less than 24hrs, online searches for Brother Vellies spiked 120% whilst pageviews for ERL (as seen on A$AP Rocky) rose 259%. Oscar de la Renta (+179%), Bode (+16%) and Versace (+45%) also saw an increase in pageviews over the same period. Meanwhile, searches for Balenciaga – worn by numerous celebrities including Kim Kardashian, Michaela Coel and Rihanna – jumped 505% over the past two days.

MTV VMAs: The MTV VMAs were the first of the two major celebrations this past week. In only 24hrs demand on Lyst for Versace increased by 41%, having been worn by Lil Nas X, Olivia Rodrigo and Ed Sheeran. Similarly, interest in silver, sequin and glitter items – worn by Billy Porter, Machine Gun Kelly and Paris Hilton, among others – are up 54% collectively. Megan Fox’s outfit had the highest impact; searches for sheer dresses jumped 144%.

Emma Raducanu’s style: In less than 48 hours following Emma Raducanu’s US Open win, online searches for Nike’s tennis shoes spiked 86% whilst searches for the brand jumped 40%.

NYFW Street Style: New York Fashion Week is back with the city’s street style inspiring shoppers worldwide. Almost one week following the event, searches for mini bags (+56%), Thom Browne’s skirts (+36%), cut-out knits (+33%) and printed pants (+17%) are rising. Other popular trends included low-rise jeans and cowboy boots with pageviews increasing 29% and 25% week-on-week respectively.
