Geometric bags: Shoppers are getting into shapes. Compared to last year, searches on Lyst for geometric bags have increased by 274% over the last month. Shoppers are searching for terms such as “triangle”, “geometric”, “asymmetrical” and “sculptural”. The most wanted items currently include the Bottega Veneta triangle bag, Staud’s geometric print bag and the Mlouye geometric tote bag.

Chain belts: Chain belts are amongst the fastest-rising categories of this season. Page views for chain belts grew 21% this month, while “layered”, “hip” and “waist” are the most commonly used keywords when searching for one. Chanel’s, Gucci’s and Versace’s chain belts are amongst the top 5 most wanted styles over the past week.

Patchwork: Searches for patchwork pieces have increased 25% this month. Page views for patchwork dresses, in particular, are rising fast: they’re currently up 100% month-on-month. LoveShackFancy, Rixo, and Zimmermann are among the top searched brands. After dresses, jeans and jackets are the most searched-for products categories alongside the term patchwork with the latter spiking by 33% over the past two weeks.

Sandals: Demand for spring-summer shoe styles is growing quickly on Lyst, with searches for sandals specifically increasing 19% compared to a week before. This week, while Birkenstocks remain high in searches, other styles increasing in popularity include “strappy sandals” (+36%) and “fisherman sandals” (+31%). Moschino, Dr. Martens and Gabriela Hearst are currently the most wanted pairs.

Sweatshirts dresses: Although floral dresses are having a moment, fashion lovers are also looking for oversized comfy pieces, with a minimalistic feel. Interest in T-shirt and sweatshirt dresses combined has been growing steadily week-on-week, they’re currently up 109% since the start of January. Monki’s oversized t-shirt dress, Nike Move to Zero sweatshirt dress and Off-White Coulisse t-shirt dress are amongst the most wanted pieces.

Knitted shirts: Male shoppers are searching for knitted shirts to refresh their spring wardrobe. On Lyst, page views for “knit” and “crochet” shirts have spiked 23% month-on-month. Bode’s Havana crochet-lace shirt, NN07’s Nolan knitted shirt and Casablanca’s Tennis shirt with a knitted collar are amongst the most wanted items. Meanwhile, searches for knitted and crocheted polo shirts are also up 19% month-on-month.
