Green: Spring is in the air with searches for the color green rising 41% since the start of the month. Page views for green hoodies and sweatshirts in particular have spiked 25% collectively compared to the week before; “emerald green” and “sage green” are currently the top searched shades. Meanwhile, green bags have seen the greatest search increase week-on-week (+33%) with the Bottega Veneta padded cassette being the most wanted style.

T-shirts and shirts: Since the start of March, searches for plain white t-shirts grew 51% with Arket, COS and Acne Studios amongst the most sought-after brands. Similarly, demand for white shirts is also growing; page views are currently up 27% month-on-month. Popular search terms include “longline”, “poplin” and “oversized”.

Modern bohemian: Male shoppers are embracing a relaxed silhouette and bold botanical patterns for spring. On Lyst, searches for “loose” shorts and pants have spiked 142% since the start of the month, while page views for short sleeve floral shirts have increased 30%. Acne Studio’s green floral shirt is the most wanted one. Meanwhile, chic boho brands such as CMMN SWDN and Nanushka are trending among male shoppers with searches up 36% and 39% week-on-week respectively.

Slingbacks: Now that spring has officially begun, searches for open back shoes are increasing. Page views for slingbacks, for example, have increased by 17% in the past 3 weeks, with heeled styles being the most searched for (+20%). Most wanted items include Saint Laurent’s Anais slingbacks, Burberry’s check slingbacks and Valentino’s logo slingbacks. While black remains the most popular color, shoppers are also looking for colorful and printed, natural and pink slingbacks.

Totes and silk bags: Searches for totes and shopper bags have grown consistently in the last 3 months and are now up 86%; Gucci totes, pre-owned Hermes and Chloe’s large Woody bag are amongst the most popular styles. On the other hand, other types of bags with a more playful nature are starting to drive searches on Lyst. We have spotted a 104% increase since January for bags which include the keyword ‘satin’. Ganni’s satin knot top handle bag is among the most viewed styles over the past week.
