Hot pink: Following Jacquemus’ pink festive capsule collection launch on Instagram last week, searches for the brand’s pink bags jumped 61% with the Petit Mini Chiquito being the most viewed one. Meanwhile, page views for pink items on Lyst have been increasingly up since the start of November; they’re currently up 15% month-on-month while pink is the most popular color after black, white and blue. Over the past month, there was a 23% rise in searches including the term “hot pink” with bags and coats being the most sought-after categories.
The holiday knitwear: Since the start of December, page views of festive knits have increased 59%. Over the past week the most commonly used search terms alongside jumper were “Christmas”, “festive” and “star”, while red was the most in-demand color. Meanwhile, searches for sequin detailed and crystal-embellished sweaters have spiked 72% compared to the previous week with Self-Portrait and Christopher Kane among the most viewed brands.
Skiwear: This week, Kylie Jenner’s winter trip has caused a significant spike in searches for skiwear; following her latest Instagram posts, wearing Dior, searches for “Dior puffer jackets” jumped 47% compared to the previous week, whilst searches for “snow boots” went up 31%. Looking at ski jackets and snow boots as categories on Lyst, searches are up 52% and 37% month-on-month respectively.
Glam pyjamas: Party at home is influencing our shopping habits this holiday season; demand for luxurious pyjama sets has been strong lately, with searches rising by 56% over the past week. Although “silk” and “satin” are currently the most sought after styles (+45%), shoppers are also searching for feather details. Most wanted brands include Sleeper, Kitri Studio and Gilda & Pearl.
