I spend 9 months of the year living and working in active shorts and decided to give these a try. I love how well integrated the included belt is, and how you have the option of removing it. The fit is pretty good, ideally I'd take a 33 but the 34 seems comfortable and not too big. I like the pocket configuration. What this short is missing compared to all my others is some degree of stretch. Otherwise this hits all the marks for me. These are my go to lake house shorts. Great for boating, fishing, yard work, walking the dog or just relaxing. The fit is extremely comfortable. My two pair worn constantly going on my second summer and they are just like new. I have gotten everything imaginable on them with no stains after washing. I love these shorts so much that made a made a 4 foot tall replica and dressed as these shorts for halloween. They fit perfectly and have just the right amount of stretch. I walk a lot and typically wear a hole in the crotch of my shorts in well under a year, but I've been wearing these frequently for around a year (modulo a Massachusetts winter) and they are in great shape. Don't hesitate to buy these shorts, they're great. They are extremely well thought out and comfy, have a nice padded waistband, mesh pockets that don't create sweaty hot spots in warm weather, water repellent shell, nice integrated belt and on and on. Outstanding shorts. Lightweight and tremendous fit. The material is quick drying and has the perfect amount of elasticity. I like them so much that I immediately order a second pair after the first day of wearing them. These shorts were a game changer! I love how I can use them for everything! From going to school, to casual wear, to hiking or camping, and even water activities. The zipper pocket is great to but small things you need so if you jump in water they're safe! Really satisfied with my shorts I got them in different colors. I bought these looking for a lightweight, shorter pair of backpacking shorts for the summer. Living in the midwest for the time being, I needed something that was going to be able to help with the humidity which can get to over 90 percent. I really love a few things about these shorts. First, the fit is great. They are slim, with just enough storage (5 pockets in total, one larger capacity in the leg), and are shorter than your conventional baggy, cargo hiking shorts. The second thing is the fabric. Ultra breathable, UPF 50 and DWR. I found my new favorite pair of trekking shorts! Definitely recommend these. Unfortunately, I bought the wrong size - I should have got a 40. Color: gray
