The Tucker takes the 1990s American work shirt as its starting point and brings in the sculptural patterning and functionality of the British hunting shirt. The result is a country shirt that keeps the straightforward character of workwear while taking its pattern from fieldwear. It is cut from a bespoke Madras check in 100% cotton. Pigment-dyed cotton yarns run through the warp and conventionally dyed cotton yarns through the weft. The contrast between the two dye methods produces dimensional shading across the check, with warm browns set against deep navy, and encourages a rich patina that evolves with wear. The cut is relaxed, with dropped shoulders, a front placket closed with dark buttons, and long sleeves finished with button cuffs. The hem follows a curved shirttail line.
