Be Inspired

More product details

Tight fitted long dress in polyester jersey. Long sleeves in polyester and sheer silk jersey. Patent leather polka dots. Subtly padded shoulders. Concealed zip to the back. At only 25 years old, David Koma already graduated from the St Petersburg’s art school and the prestigious St Martins school of London. Georgian born, this talented designer likes to sublimate female curves by creating 1950s-like sculptural dresses. Just like Thierry Mugler whose work he admires, he investigates, innovates and gives his own definition of style. This winter, he is inspired by avant-garde art, in particular by the work of Oleg Dou and the Japanese Yayoi Kusama, embodying his obsession for prints and repetitions. This season he multiplies the dot pattern, true leitmotiv of the collection, in patch, laser cut leather, digital prints, and even embroidery... Shades are nude, black and grey enhanced by Pop colors such as blue, yellow, and red in particular on fur pompoms. Fall/Winter collection 2011-2012. Color: black
