History of Mens Pikolinos Shoes

Founded in 1984 by Juan Peran Ramos, the Spanish footwear label Pikolinos was built on a mission to produce premium quality shoes with original and distinctive design. In 1989, the company ran a trial export test to ascertain whether their unique footwear might attract any interest from overseas. To say that the trial run was a success would be a massive understatement, as the Mediterranean design influences became a huge hit across the world. Today, the majority of Pikolinos shoes are sold abroad, proving to be particularly popular in America, Germany, Italy and Russia. The brand has always kept a close eye on their duty to protect the environment, with their Amazona range of ecological footwear receiving the official Eco award from the European Union in 2005. Now under the guidance of the founder’s son Juan Manuel Peran, the brand continues to grow around the globe with a new logistics center opening in Miami, and 17 official stores now in operation worldwide.
