Britain’s most celebrated and most successful fashion designer has always positioned his pieces firmly in the center of high-class fashion and casual wear. Fusing traditional designs with modern influences, the core focus of the Paul Smith range is ‘classic with a twist’. Smith’s typically dry British humor is at the root of many of his award-winning designs in menswear. Quirky but not flippant, eccentric but not absurd. Paul Smith continues to surprise and delight with his latest collections of beautifully fashioned footwear.

History of Mens Paul Smith Shoes
British designer Paul Smith’s original ambition was to be a professional cyclist. Born in Nottingham in 1946, Smith worked in a clothing factory and pursued his cycling dream in his spare time until he was involved in a major accident on his cycle to work which left him hospitalized for six months. During this time, his friends inspired him to study fashion and design, and after his recovery, Smith worked at a tailor’s in London’s prestigious Savile Row. He later launched his own eponymous menswear fashion label in 1976 and quickly earned acclaim for his clothing collections refreshingly targeted square in the middle of luxury high-end fashion and casual wear. Opening his flagship store in London in 1979, and then later opening stores in Tokyo, New York and Paris, Paul Smith now runs over 200 stores worldwide and is one of the most popular British designers of all time. Receiving a wealth of awards over his long and successful career, including Outstanding Achievement from the British Fashion Awards, Sir Paul Smith also received a CBE and later a knighthood from Queen Elisabeth II for his services to the British fashion industry.
