With the upcoming movie of The Great Gatsby in 2013, we will assist to the renaissance of the 20's in their greatest Fashion trends ! Pieces of fur, non-revealing floor length dresses, hair accessories, lace and silk small gloves... This is actually what inspired my look for the very first day of the MTL Mode & Design Fest. With a modern twist, of course, we are in the 21st century after all ;) I have therefore chosen this maxi dress in a beautiful burgundy colour, solid-liner (a very popular trend lately!), round neckline and small short sleeves with ruffles. Where have I unearthed such a nice piece ?! At Forever 21, obviously. Held at the waist by a thin dark belt, the length of this maxi dress is perfect because it touches the ground slightly. At my feet, my Coach sandals in black PVC studded with small pieces of acetate forming a flower on the arch of the foot, were greatly appreciated, I can assure you. To add to my entire outfit, I have chosen to wear the Anita Pineault tan Vintage hat, bought a few days ago at Friperie Morgane as I have said yesterday.
