Mark Fast
Canadian designer Mark Fast studied for Central St.Martins for five years before designing knitwear for Bora Aksu. After this collaboartion he went out to launch his own label, and became known for his sexy body-con dresses which feature intricate knit details. Fast designs all his creations on a domestic knitting machine forming the work on the body as he knits. He is obsessed with texture and constantly strives to create innovative stitching techniques and yarns using lycras, angoras and wools in an unusual fashion. More recently Mark Fast has collaborated with Stuart Vevers for Loewe and Christian Louboutin on shoes for his SS10 collection.▼
