Beginning as a Bondi Markets stall during the weekends in 2001, Australian label Lover is the brainchild of designer Susien Chong. The market soon developed into a cult label, with actress Clare Danes even picking up two of the label’s polka-dot blouses on a trip to Sydney. It is now an internationally recognised brand outside its native Australia, and the hype surrounding the brand has grown and grown - and this, deservedly so, as it showcases its perfect feminine city-chic in sharp tailored jackets, high-waisted shorts and lace mini dresses from season to season.▼
