Claudia Croft of the Sunday Times once wrote that women either looked sexy or casual. “After Juicy, they could pull both looks at the same time,” she wrote. Juicy Couture started off as a dream between two friends operating out of a small apartment in L.A. Today it’s a global brand now owned by Liz Claiborne. Pam Skaist-Levy and Gela Taylor knew in order to get more attention they needed prominence. So they began handing out their collections to celebrities in Hollywood. When Madonna was photographed in the signature Juicy velour tracksuit, brand notoriety was instant. The brand continues its modern chic aesthetic giving a variety of patterns, designs and colors amongst its abundance of apparel, accessories and jewelry.▼
