Helmut Lang epitomised the sleek minimalism of the nineties and thanks to a relaunch in 2008 the brand continues to define this less-is-more approach to fashion. Initially Lang placed sole focus on the sharp tailored suits which were integral to his brand; these soon became the uniform for the suited-and-booted men within creative industries. After the relaunch, the brand retained its minimalist look but became more feminine and wearable, with influences taken from ‘street-fashion’.
