Gustavo Lins
The designer Gustavo Lins originally studied to be an architect in his native home of Brazil, but soon made the switch to fashion when he realised he’d rather be working with linens and silks than glass and steel. His ethos, however, is still that of the architect, with both his menswear and womenswear collections displaying the kind of skilled draping and tailoring of a highly skilled sculptor of material. Eight collections after the label’s launch, Gustavo Lins’ clothing today features the kind of luxurious leather tunics and draped jersey dresses that are likely to earn him yet more fans in the years to come.▼
