Italian fashion designer Giambattista Valli began his career by working in the Rome couture shows, from there he moved to Fendi and Krizia and eventually landed the role of fashion director at Emanuel Ungaro. It wasn’t until 2005 that he launched his own solo line, which quickly found a loarge fan base amongst red carpet actresses and socialites. Giambattista Valli’s forte is creating showstopping gowns with feminine touches such as ruffles, bows and intricate embroidery. Valli is also well known for his ability to creativley play with form, volume and proportion, providing a sharp contrast to his delicate couture inspired dresses.
