Sequins: Harry Styles and Phoebe Waller-Bridge wearing sequined Gucci vests in Styles’ latest single video caused a 425% spike in searches for sequins in just 24hrs following the release. Pageviews for white and wide-legged trousers jumped 40% for both menswear and womenswear whilst demand for Gucci increased 23% compared to the week before.

Regencycore: Netflix announced this week that in its first four weeks, Bridgerton is set to be watched by over 63 million households. In the same timeframe it has sent searches for corsets (+123%), pearl and feather headbands (+49%), long gloves (+23%) and empire line dresses (+93%) soaring. Most viewed are; headpieces by Simone Rocha and Magnetic Midnight, corsets by Rasario and Dion Lee, and dresses by Brock Collection and Erdem.

Veganuary: Fashion lovers have shown support for Veganuary. In five days searches that include the words “vegan leather”, “eco-friendly” or “recycled” have spiked 62% collectively.

Fitness challenge: Searches for activewear pieces have seen a significant increase since the beginning of this month and are currently up 33%. Demand for “yoga leggings” specifically has spiked 144% month-on-month. Alongside that, pageviews of workout unitards, as well as sports bras, have also increased by 71% and 86% respectively over the past week.

Houndstooth print: Following the release of an Instagram post in which Beyoncé is wearing a head-to-toe houndstooth look searches for “houndstooth turtleneck” increased 51% in the following couple of days. Meanwhile, demand for houndstooth cardigans and sweater vests, in particular, has grown strong over the past week with searches currently up 65% since the start of January.
