Missoni Black Lightweight Sweater in A Blend Of Wool

Lightweight sweater in a blend of wool, polyester, nylon and rayon. Round neckline, long sleeves. This fall-winter season, the theme running through Angela Missoni's collection was nature and its wonders. The designer offered organic impressions, flora and fauna, mineral effects and "oh-so-realistic" textures. As if inspired by a girl who wants to lose herself in the wild but is stuck living in the city, the silhouette was urban and racy, with tube dresses, pencil skirts, fitted jackets and lightweight knits. The degradé color palette felt like decaying leaved on the ground, while the profusion of details (pony skin with glints of bark, beading made to look like pine needles, granite-like tweed, wispy fur, branch motifs) reminded us of a countryside fall landscape.
