I took the road earlier in the evening, for the small country house I grew up in. This week, I will spend my time there since at the end of it, I will move in definitely into my brand new apartment located in the district of Outremont, in Montreal. I love the big city ! The constant noise, proximity, the tireless energy that flows between the endless streets of the island... However, the countryside will greatly be missed. This is my childhood, my teenage years, my young adult life until today. Fresh air, nature, peace, poise... There is nothing like a little trip at my parent's country house to take time to rest and think. This is so weird ! This is actually the first time in my life I have absolutely no idea what's gonna come next. Aside from my transfer to the University of Montreal next winter, what am I doing, where do I go ?! Okay, I have to admit I did think about just a little... Let's just say that you'll get to call me otherwise, from day to day. PB on a motorcycle ? PB assistant director ? PB and her surfboard ?! But for now, let's just talk about Fashion. When visiting the country, I tend to change a little bit my personal style. A priori, since city clothes are not so practical. Then, because I don't really like to draw attention unnecessarily. And finally, because of the distinction between the weather of the urban and rural areas. Personally, I go for a short-sleeved shirt, a wool sweater (always on the shoulders!), a flexible skirt fitted with a braided belt, a hairband, sunnies, a small necklace, a small satchel and a good old pair of loafers. Oh, and a book ! If writing happens into town, reading, that's in the country !
